An Oldie But A Goodie

This particular image from Veda and Jake’s wedding has been extremely good to us. It has won awards and features, and four years later, it is still going strong! Even today, it is featured on two different sites (pure coincidence). Check it out at Junebug Weddings and Design Aglow! For the record though, the greatest thing that came out of their wedding is the friendship that we developed with Veda and Jake. We couldn’t ask for more amazing friends.

Rachel . Personal Workshop

Love is a better teacher than duty. -Albert Einstein Ever since the first year of our business, we frequently received questions and inquiries on photography and business related questions. One by one, we answered each one of them, and don’t get me wrong, we love receiving emails because it tells us that we’re trusted enough to seek advice from, but it has come to the point where we receive more than we can handle in our day-to-day (sorry recent emailers!). It’s been requested and in long discussions between H and I to hold our own workshops, but timing just hasn’t been …

Sarah . Baby Shower

The most fabulous baby shower ever! Complete with letterpress invitations, professional-looking floral arrangements and homemade food and dessert, hand-picked books brought by guests for baby’s own library, macarons, and giant balloons as decor and party favors! The hostesses with the mostess are pictured in the last photo station pic with Sarah. Welcome to the world baby Micah!

Judy and Jing Jing . Wedding

Edit . Check out these amazing cupcakes Judy made just for me! —– Judy and Jing Jing and their super sweet/super fun nature was evident throughout the entire wedding day. Their wedding party was oodles of fun too – it was their joking about the abandoned parking lot that inspired the urban shot of all of them. The reason behind the scowling faces by the ice sculpture is because it was not designed as requested, but it’s still a cool ice sculpture and they paid good money for it, so H snapped a funny image of them. Because of Judy’s …

Ambra . Portrait

If I never mentioned this before, I absolutely love my job! I can’t lie though, like any job, there are pros AND cons, but that’s for another post. Not only do I get to be surrounded with people at their happiest and beautifullest*, I get the opportunity to meet so many different types of people and make good friends along the way. Ambra is one of those good friends. In fact, she is one of my favorite people. Besides, how could I not like someone who gave me an ego-boost by telling me, “You are so gorgeous!” as I entered …

Grace and Scott . Wedding

We’ve known Scott for many years and he has a huge heart that matches his huge fun-loving personality – never seen him without a big ol’ smile on his face. Meeting Grace more recently, she complements him so perfectly with a huge heart and fun-loving personality of her own. Their wedding details were hand-crafted with love. And something unique they had at their reception was their Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar “cake”. I love it when couples get creative like that! Grace and Scott, thanks for making us smile and keep expanding those great hearts of yours!
