Erin and Jordan . Engagement

If it isn’t apparent from the images, we had a lot of fun with Erin and Jordan during their engagement session. It’s always a great time when we get the chance to capture couples doing what they love together. We ended the session at a gym, the place where they first met. Usually, the gym isn’t where one looks their best from all the sweating in non-attractive workout clothes (in my case at least), but nevertheless, Jordan was struck by Erin’s natural beauty. Their wedding took place last month and we can’t wait to share the images. By the way, …

Inspiration . Earth

In honor of earth month, here is an inspiration board that displays the earth’s colors from Jamie and Zeke’s wedding. The blues and greens were fresh and preppy while perfectly complementing their Pacific Northwest backyard wedding.

Cathy and Krim . Engagement

Another one from January’s freezing temperatures, Krim kept us somewhat warm while making us laugh and Cathy is just cute as a button. They met when Cathy gave a presentation to a company that Krim worked at. He might not remember what it was about, but something (er… someone) definitely grabbed his attention.

Amber and Brian . Engagement

We were so thrilled when Amber contacted us to photograph her wedding! You see, she was the Maid of Honor of the Best Overall Wedding of 2008, and it’s always fun to photograph familiar faces. Amber and Brian’s engagement was photographed back in January when it was frigid. Really frigid. We were greeted by some fog which created a romantic and rustic backdrop. Because of very low temperatures, I had to work quicker than usual, but it was definitely worth it. In the end, they got to cozy up at a fireplace. Thanks for enduring Amber and Brian!

Happy Earth Day!

“Every day is Earth Day.” Author Unknown Not only is it good for our earth, our health, and our pocketbooks, but being green is hip! We’re not all out tree-huggers (just yet), but here are some of the ways that our household/business is being more intentional to take care of our earth. – recycling – carrying own bags – using the dishwasher – paying bills electronically – using energy-saving light bulbs – buying more organic products – reading magazines at a bookstore instead of buying subscriptions – reading books via Kindle for iPhone – using dry cleaning covers as small …

A ‘Spring’board for Inspiration

From time to time, we will be featuring inspiration boards from our past weddings, showcasing the variety of color palettes and details. And to start it off, here is one from a wedding back in April 2006 of Christine and Richard’s wedding. Their main colors were peachy pink, mellow yellow and white with accents of chartreuse green and tangerine orange. This made for a vibrant, fresh and whimsical setting.

Best of 2008

Today is Tax Day and that usually doesn’t make for the happiest day for most, but hopefully this post will brighten it up a little for you. Presenting the Best of 2008 brought to you by… Best Proposal This might have been the only proposal that GH Kim shot last year, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this proposal was truly dynamite, just like TNT. Best Engagement Look Michelle and Quoc looked spot-on in dressy casual chic. Best Ring In a sea of round and princess cuts, Lauren’s pear-shaped ring stood out to be unique and gorgeous. Best …
